2.2 cm nodule RLL, wasn't there at all last year.

Yes, it was better the next day. But I got the biopsy results back for the spot on my RLL. It was not lung cancer related at all. Instead it is a plasmacytoma, which is a blood cancer. Fixing to do a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy and some more lab work this week to see if it is "just" that one spot, or more involved and possibly multiple myeloma.
Getting those results threw me for a loop. It was not at all what I was expecting, even though I didn't really know what to expect. (make sense?) We found the tumor initially during a LDCT lung cancer screening, so my mind was oriented in that direction. Now it has taken a different road instead.

Oh @aoifet, that had to be a shock, and quite a turn. Now that you know what type of cancer it is, you can move toward appropriate treatment. I'm sure you have a lot to learn, as is the case with any new cancer, but you'll figure it out! Wishing you good luck going forward.
