Neuropathy sudden stiffness in my feet & ankles.
Has anyone had a sudden flare up of stiffness in the feet & ankles? Came on suddenly over night. Worst in 15 years. I don’t know why now.

It was mentioned above that weather and barometric pressure, gut health and food (processed foods, foods with nitrates, I believe) can all be major triggers, just what I’m experiencing… my opinion.
How did they stretch your feet? Is this something that can be done at home? I have the same problem with my feet.
I go to the gym & work with weigh machine Monday Wednesday & Friday. Tuesday Thursday & Saturday 30 to 45 minutes on the elliptical machine. This helps my circulation, balance & my muscle wasting.
I have no pain with my NEUROPATHY & that is a blessing. My poor balance is my worst enemy. Working on my leg strengthen And full body workout have saved me from taking Some serious falls.
I am on a similar trajectory--no pain but have annoying circulation issues. Balance is also okay but I did have some muscle wasting--so I go to physical therapy where I get cardio and strength training--ankle weights while I do leg lifting. The massage for feet is also beneficial. It seems that this disease does not want a body at rest. Movement and more movement needed... I applaud your determination. Here on the East Coast we are in the midst of a heat wave which is not too helpful for the neuropathy crowd. Yet try we must!!
When I originally posted this I was prescribed amoxicillin, a few days earlier, for a light bronchitis. A couple of days later is when my ankles & feet stiffened up. I stopped taking it and my doctor switched me to dioxocillan 2 days ago. So far so good. Just an FYI ~ any of us with neuropathy can more sensitive to antibiotics or for that matter any new med may cause us more allergic reactions.

Yes, I believe the weather is a big factor also.
Has anybody found relief with B12 injections?
I am going into my 3rd month (once a week injection)
Have not noticed any relief, especially my hands numbness.
The cold weather is the worst for me.
I take B12 injections every two weeks. It makes a huge difference.
Only if you are low in B12
From my experience if B12 BLOOD level goes up more than 2000 units,
It has shown to cause tremors like PARKINSONS.
So be careful regarding it.
I am a PHYSICAL THERAPIST by profession.
I have seen it many clients of mine .
Plz consult your family physician.
All the best.
