I take magnesium supplements daily and I recently had extensive blood work done and everything is within normal range. I have a history of anxiety and panic attacks which don’t help the situation. I am trying to keep a record of what I have eaten and when it happens. I thought sodium might be a big factor and hydration.

I am on Diltiazem and I take it in the evening. I used to be on Metoprolol and it seemed to have controlled it better. I will talk to my cardiologist.

As a follow up to @gloaming regarding other supplements. I know I always believed that OTC meds for different ailments were safe to take together. Big surprise….NO. I had to see an Endocrinologist for a few unrelated SVT symptoms. She ordered a bazillion blood test. Bottom line…some of my ‘natural remedies’ or OTC meds were interacting with each other. She called it “bumping into each other”. Who knew? You might be wise to examine (if any) non prescription medications you may be taking. ie- antacids, vitamins, laxatives etc.
