@knissy

I hope the iron infusions help you. I haven't had any B 12 shots. But I've had 10 iron infusions which did nothing. I still have Anemia and fatigue and continue losing weight.
Thanks for your reply.

Lasst year I had 2 iron infusions, which didn't affect me. I just went through 3 iron infusions and about 5 B6 shots, with one more due. No difference in how I feel. This time was a different type of iron since they now think it's my chronic kidney disease Stage 3 that is causing it. Oh, well, I guess we all need to be patient. I haven't had to have chemo or radiation, so I'm thankful for that and feel so badly for all the people I see receiving those treatments--and hoping I won't be joining them. I'll be 79 in Sept and need a total shoulder replacement, along with so many other ailments. I am falling apart one piece at a time to the point I feel I won't have any original parts left. lol

I don't feel any better, but I've been packing when I can since we're moving next Friday (July 11th & 12th). Since I need a total right shoulder replacement, I'm in so much pain I can hardly lift my hand. I actually slept 11 hrs 40 mins the other night, which I don't believe has ever happened to me, and last night slept 10 hr 10 mins. My daughter said I must have needed it. I usually have trouble sleeping because of the pain but I am very glad I was able to sleep. Iron has seemed not to do anything, other than my mouth running a lot this morning and my daughter wondered what was wrong with me! NERVES about the move. I have ADHD and OCD & I'm too sick & tired to get everything done like I used to. If you can't even hook your own bra & have trouble wiping your own behind (my bad arm), you can get depressed. Then just add the "limbo" that we are in with our cancer -- what's happening? I sometimes feel sorry for myself. But, I still enjoy living. We just got a new puppy since I lost my dog of 15 yrs a year ago in April and my daughter lost her dog of 13 1/2 yrs end of Jan. This one is a chocolate mini min-pin who has turned out to be a "fire-cracker!" Not a good idea to get right before a move, but she has brought a lot of joy into this home. My great grandson is 13 and was raised with both dogs and has really gone through depression so it makes me so happy to see him giggling again. I also have a "lizard" friend who visits me daily. When he sees me through the sliding glass door, he comes and sits on the chair and we have conversations. My daughter says I'm the lizard whisperer! I also have a bird who I sometimes whistle to and he answers! lol I'll miss those little guys! Oh, yes, one of my other daughters thought she saw our aligator this morning but it was just a duck! We all have trouble with our vision now. lol
