Sildenafil dosing question

I took 10mg Viagra and felt crappy...same thing with Cialis. I have another T test tomorrow, I'm about 10 months past radiation treatment and 4 months ADT and my levels have slowly been rising with the last reading about 75% of normal. I saw a 'specialized' urologist who said, 'if you have a penis, we can make it erect', but all the methods he described, other than meds., were undesirable. Thankfully, I'm 72 and can live with limpitis, albeit, still dreaming of the return of AM wood.

Did you have the same symptoms with Cialis as with Viagra?

I have found that I can get a full erection with the help of a penis pump. I ended up getting the Pos-T-Vac 2 battery system. Works well, although I am not able to maintain the erection without the use of a band. I slowly worked my way up to full. At first, there was some discomfort at different levels of erection, so I took it in steps: 1 week 1/4; 1 week 1/2, 1 week+ 3/4, and now full—no more discomfort.

The normal Viagra pill that people take is 100 mg. Sildenafil It’s usually a 20 mg tablet. You would take five of them to equal one Viagra pill. You can try taking less never hurts to experiment.

I’ve heard of doctors treating post prostatectomy patients with both Cialis and Viagra on a regular basis to try to prevent ED. People have reported it in this forum.

I've been on the 20 mg at night, six nights a week and 100 mg once a week or before sexual activity (which for me is about the same hahaha). I started this when radiation began and was told to follow this regimen for two years. It seems to be working. I got consistent erections even while on ADT, and haven't lost length or girth.

I too am on Slidenafil for Pulmonary Hypertension and I have left sided heart failure. They started me on 20 mg 3X a day. I had severe side effects. We are now trying 10 mg/day then 20, then 30 over three weeks. Still having side effects.

About 4 years ago (before PCa diagnosis), I got a prescription for Sildenafil through one of the on-line providers. I was having occasional issues with maintaining an erection. The provider prescribed a dose of three 20mg tablets to be taken a half-hour before having sex. They also recommended experimenting with the drug without a partner first, to see how it worked. I decided to be conservative and try taking two 20mg tablets. Worked great, but gave me a nasty headache. Tried it again with just one 20mg tablet. Worked well, and no headache - so that became my dosage.

Didn't matter much while I was on Orgovyx for six months, and for a couple of months after - I had no interest in sex anyway. Now, the interest is back and, happily, the equipment seems to be working pretty well. A single 20mg Sildenafil still seems to do the job for me.

I think if I took 100 mg my head might explode - but like with so many other drugs/treatments. there's a lot of variation from person to person.

My Viagra scrip is 100 mg. and it state take one 30 min. before sex. It also says no more than 300 mg. per week. I have no side effects form it. Cialis made my face flush red and hot feeling. One thing that prolongs an erection is a cock ring.
