Intense vulva pain sitting and heaviness standing.

Hi. I have had prolapse, endo, etc ruled out by pelvic MRI. Gyno did pelvic botox which made it worse and unguided pudental nerve block in Addocks canal which hadn't helped. The vulva through to coxxyx causes agony sitting and a feeling of heaviness standing. MRI dosen't always show pudental nerve entrapment. Seeing nurologist and also getting 10mm ovarian vein embolization. No abdominal pain. Vaginal neuralgia maybe? Anyone had similar symtons. No pain relief has worked.

I don't know if this helps, but I have vulvodynia and vestibuladynia. Recently the dr put me on gabapentin and amitriptyline and it seems to help. Sometimes I get this for 3 months then clears. You may have tried this medication. I hope this helps.

Hi. Gabapentin knocked me out cold at the lowest dose so not suitable for daytime dose and unfortunately nortriptyline lowers my sodium too much which amitripyline will also do. Glad they help you.

Have you tried pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy? Sometimes there is muscle dysfunction.
