Lupus Raynaud
My daughter went to her doctor and had a blood test. It showed up as Lupus. We all started to panic. She has Raynaud Syndrome and now noticed she has small bumps all over her hands.
Doctor said that she doesn’t have lupus because all her other tests showed normal. What do I do?

Yvette, Hey there. If possible, I would get 2nd opinion from another Rheumatologist. Raynaud Syndrome is
often secondary to another autoimmune Disease.
Praying for her and you. Blessings.....
Thank you. Yes I think I will have her get a second blood test.
Does she get the butterfly rash on her face?
My Ana, c reactive protein, sed rate and complement c3 and 4 are all elevated. I can say there are times I have the butterfly rash that not all my inflammatory markets are elevated. If she has the butterfly rash take pictures to show the doctor. I was diagnosed in 2009 but the rheumatologist would not accept another doctors diagnosis. My son had me start taking pictures twice a day and I emailed them to the rheumatologist. He finally agreed that I have lupus when I tested positive for sojourns, mixed connective tissue disease, Hashimotos. Lupus is very hard to diagnose. It does not affect the same person the same way. Part of lupus is drug allergies. I have over 40 different drug allergies. Why they didn’t catch it sooner will never know.
