My hip replacement surgery went well and the surgeon is pleased. My surgery was the first one of the day, and I did go home that afternoon. @scottij, you are absolutely correct about the pain and the sleeplessness. I want to add brain fog to my symptoms which I did not expect!
I'm beginning week 6, and had in home PT for the first few weeks and we (PT and I) agreed that I don't need to go to outpatient sessions because what I need is walking. I'm currently an occasional cane user.
@cromme50, you can be proud of me because I did take every dose of my immunosuppression meds on schedule! I did, however, miss some of my new eye drops which are 2x a day. My opthamologist was not real happy, but understanding.

It is very interesting, and encouraging that progress seems to be moving more quickly as the pain is almost gone! I'm maybe taking 1 tylenol a day.
