Fantastic. Walking 8-10 miles. Wow! I walk 1-2 miles and thought I was doing good.

Have you had your EF checked lately?

Walking improves cardiovascular fitness so can benefit HCM. Then taking off that much weight has also relieved a lot of stress off the heart and HCM.

Yeah, over 65 was all dictation said. just finished another 3 hour walk. Now just 20pounds more to go and will be at college weight when rowing on OSU crew team. I may start some uphill walking to get ready for chukar season this fall. I surely dont feel 73 yo, more like 33. Your walking 1-2 miles is amazing from what support group reports. Try taking 10-20 second rest periods and work up to 2 hours walking. 4-6 am is very peaceful time with few if any humans, lots of birds and wildlife singing and chittering. I finds intermittent fasting and walking a sure fire way to loose weight. fighting my one enemy of liking diet Pepsi too much and wanting a popsicle before bedtime . Good Luck!! I dont know about you but this diagnosis really shook me up for 4 months. Listening to praise songs about Jesus got me to just live life to the fullest with the time we all have left.
