If your BA size is under 10mm can not have surgery. It is too dangerous, risk outweigh the benefits. I was diagnosed BA in 2022 with 4mm behind my left eyeball. I eat low salt diet, controlled my BP, exercise in the pool and walk. Elevated my bed 45 degrees. MRA once a year. My BA has been stable. You have learned to live with quiet and gentle life. I had aneurysm clipping at 7mm. It depends upon the shape of the aneurysm. My was very irregular and likely to burst. I won the jackpot though, I also have an assending and root aorta aneurysm. Having surgery for that in 3 weeks. The recovery from open brain surgery actually not too bad at all. Not looking forward to open heart surgery.

My BA syndrome is pulsating on my left brain, it feels like second heartbeats in my brain. I saw 8 doctors not one believe me that I have BA. Finally second neurological order MRA to confirm that I have BA. He ordered Inderal 10mg BID and it works. All the symptoms are disappearing and BA size stays the same. Unfortunately, I currently is battling Lung Cancer which is destroying my life.
