I read comments,am scared to get cataract surgery. What should I ask before surgery, like make sure correct
Lens is used, or is another dr going to be helping( backup ). Should I get ALL measurements numbers before and after surgery. . My mother s was not good(1986. SHe
LOST VISION ONE EYE. ) Dr is young,I am in80,s.

Everyone is different.

If you want to be involved in the decisions of what type of IOL, and single vision or mono/blended vision, you will need to obtain your manifest refraction and visual acuity information - and learn what it means.

You will need to find a competent, well-respected surgeon/clinic you trust to provide care - they will decide based on your stated desire and needs.

Join a facebook group that discusses specifics of cataract replacement surgeries, lenses (IOLs), etc.
