Hi, @januaryjane - Not being able to sleep straight through is rough. I have gone through periods before where my sleep is affected and found it anxiety-producing. When disturbed sleep keeps happening, you start worrying if you will be able to get a good night's sleep at all, and I've found it kind of becomes a circular problem.

@128128terry11t @sandytoes14 @brucearoo @gloriajean @maryshipley have all talked about insomnia in this discussion and may be able to offer you support and help you find answers to your questions. Hoping they may have insights on whether there is something neurologic that can be addressed.
I note that you prefer not to be given sleep hygiene input, so I'm guessing you've already read about/been given information about that (such as https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/adult-health/in-depth/sleep/art-20048379)? Have sleep hygiene principles helped at all with your periods in which you awaken multiple times per night?
