This sudden stiffness in my feet is something I woke up with this morning. Last night I was okay--I had exercised and was picking up marbles with my toes to keep them flexible. Someone I spoke to at the Arthritis Foundation said these kind of flares might be weather-related. You are not alone--we are trying to figure out what the triggers are and if there is any way we can control them. We seem to know more and more about food and gut issues. Stress, too, is a known trigger. How about temperature and bariatric pressure? Some sensations may be due to footwear--shoes and socks. Perhaps, medicines, vitamins...
