Has anyone tried the red light laser wand by Norelie. I’ve watched the video and of course it appears to be really good but don’t all adverts. The proof of the pudding?

Through experience and the help of this forum l only believe the testimony of someone who’s used it.

Help?

In theory, how can red light laser therapy do anything to help with our neuropathy? Maybe it helps with the pain? I don't see how it can help regenerate or repair damaged nerves, once they're dead or badly damaged, there's no going back.

The red light therapy did nothing for me.
I’m trying stem cell therapy with IV and injections in my legs and feet on Friday. It takes a month to kick in. If it works I will share my adventure with everyone. It’s very expensive!

I use a red light wrap around. When i wrap it around my legs, i don't really feel it does much, but then again, i rarely use it. but, when i wrap it around my thigh, i at least feel i have more strength in my leg when i walk around. If i want to go dancing, which i can't like i used to, but on that day, i wrap it around one let, then i let it cool down, and a couple hrs later i wrap it around the other thigh........i had enough strength to be on the floor for 1 hr..........For regeneration, i think that is what Softwave therapy is supposed to do. am going to my First treatment this wednesday........look up Soft Wave therapy...........NOT shock wave.............and see what you think.

Yes! I have had 6 sessions thus far. The jury is still out. I noticed my feet are not screaming at me when I first wake up, and the toes on my right foot were curled under due to PN, and the Laser has begun to straighten them. That blew me away, bc if my toes are not working correctly, how can I regain some of my balance?
I have 3 more sessions to go. The Laser regenerates new cells, but does nothing for the damaged nerves, so I've been told. It is not a cure-all, but it alleviates some of the pain.

I’ve had many better days after my Laser Therapy. My attitude is one of “doing” and I know if I’m on my feet to long, and push over my limit, I WILL FALL

I still have my bad days at least 1-2 days a week. It’s usually because I forget to take my meds on time, or eat properly and the worst is, if I’m feeling lonesome I go real low. Asking myself “why me” and thinking what is my purpose, what good am I to doing anything. I was feeling like this on Father’s Day for some reason.

My life was full prior to this medical malady. Now my phone barely rings. Then all my stinkin’ thinkin’ gets a hold of me and it takes a good amount of time, energy and effort to snap out of my funk. It usually takes me to writing or thinking about gratitude. It will be 12 mo on 12/1 when I had a blood clot rupture in my IVC through a vein. Like yourself, if I restore my balance I would be so happy and grateful. When I’m finished with the Laser (3 more to go) I will go back to my PT place. They specialize in balance. Ohhh, I forgot to mention, since my Laser journey, I have noticed that I can stand - all by myself for just about 1min. Better than 10 seconds!! Have a good day! Thanks for reading my rant!
Take care
Maureen

Hi @bigjohnscho

I have used red-light therapy and have written about it several times. Yes it worked, my treatment was 16x 8 weeks 2x. I could put my foot on the floor. I also do the following:
Eat healthier
Exercise: happy feet yoga (as much as I can), 5 minute foot massage found on Pinterest everynight before bed with lotion and I do both regardless off the pain because it needs to be done.

The Shockwave treatment has worked the best for me, I usually wait until my neuropathy has really flared, but I might just do it.

For the laser, Shockwave, and Softwave treatments make sure the therapist concentrates on the toes and the heels. The toes for blood flow, and the heels to reduce inflammation for happier nerves! Happy nerves glide, upset nerves are inflamed!

I understand that my neuropathy does not have a cure, however I am in a much better place now.

A pain Dr does the stem cell therapy. I’m going to Dr Bennett in Florida. The company is r3stemcell.com. Listen to their webinar

I will let the world know if it works!
