I am looking for a UC support group that can help me through the first few months of diagnosis. My Gastroenterologist told me I have UC after my colonoscopy. I asked what medical program or medication can be prescribed to help with this and I was told by her that there is nothing can be done. My colon one the part under my left rib area is inflamed and she has done nothing to help me. I don't understand and was wanting to know what are the types of medication can be given to aid in helping with this.
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
