Ivermectin parsite cleanse?
My PSA is 5.080 which I know isn't terribly high but it also isn't so good.
I did a quick search on this site for ivermectin and found it talked about here and given I have a PSA that is inching up I decided to ask here.
Does anyone have experience with an Ivermectin (mixed with one other drug) "cleanse"?
Is it something that has validity or just the newest fad?
My only experience with Ivermectin is using it to treat street dogs and cats for parasites and it worked quite well. (yes, of course don't use vet Ivermectin....please don't waste time talking down to people).
I grew up around all kinds of parasites while camping, working on farms, working with street dogs and cats, catching ringworm etc. etc.. all my life. So a good "cleanse" seems like a good idea.
But is it? All the street cats and dogs absolutely loved the stuff, after the initial die-off. They all became much healthier afterwards but the food and love helped too.
Oh, and anyone with experience with it helping the PSA?

I thought I pointed out that I posted here because of the connection between PSA and the use of Ivermectin.
It's difficult to find the proper group to post.
My main question is:
Does anyone have experience doing a "cleanse" using Ivermectin?
I clearly spelled out that I've been exposed to street dogs and cats my entire life etc.. and have been exposed to too many parasites to mention. Of course, worms, fungus (I caught ringworm many times and allowed it to simply fade away allowing my natural defenses to fight it off). I also have caught bacteria that effects mostly just street cats and those who work with them.
It's meant to be taken for a short time such as a week or two and then stopped and maybe done once a year. I don't think it's meant to cure cancer at all. It's meant to cleanse the body of parasites that weaken the body. Strengthening the body helps in all health issues including cancer.
You did not mention....has it helped in any way?
no, what gave you that idea?
I'm actually not concerned with cancer.
I was asking about using Ivermectin as a "cleanse".
Is that something that works or just the latest fad?
I only posted in this group because it appeared to be the most likely to have knowledge of Ivermectin.
The liver would process dead parasites which is what Ivermectin is used for.
Ivermectin, does not cure cancer.
It does cleanse the body of parasites which may make the body stronger and less likely to have an issue with cancer, etc..
All the street animals I treated with Ivermectin, first became somewhat ill, due to die-off, and if you use too much, especially in the beginning, you can kill the animal due to the die off effect. When I was dealing with a hairless, nearly dead street animal, I had to start with a very small dose while also feeding a very good diet and supplying clean healthy water and lots of love. Sometimes it took months to get to a full dose but when dealing with an animal covered in para sties and nearly dead, you have to move very slowly. At first I took these animals to vets which literally always ended up killing the poor animals because they did not understand die-off. They would give them a full treatment of even just antibiotics which would kill the animal simply due to the die-off effect. After realizing this and treating them myself I had almost a 100 percent success rate rather than the 0 success rate dealing with "doctors".
He felt totally fine when he did it, but blood work said otherwise. He eventually got a liver ultrasound and talked to a transplant doctor (not that it was needed, but he was just THE guy) anyways the doctor said it could also have been curcumen (because my husband of course didn't mention ivermectin etc) but the oncologist had asked us flat out because they know what desperate people do!
Liver got down to 70s then the team said to start zytiga and we know that could cause raised levels... and now chemo too ....there's a big difference between slightly raised to 70s vs 1500! I think that was the ALT number, it was over 1000! No symptoms though, so they all knew it was caused by supplements.
Curcumen is another interesting one, in it's natural state(turmeric) it doesn't get absorbed by the body but as a supplement something is added that gets it absorbed and it can be harmful.
So we don't really know which one caused the liver damage, probably all 3!
Perhaps you should try some other forums that concentrate on "cleanse" protocols- just a thought.
This forum concentrates on PC treatments and recovery. I mean, I read a ton of posts here, never found this as a topic of conversation. The only time I personally read something about usage of V. was in an already mentioned post where patient was almost having a liver failure while using it.
can you mention a forum on "cleanse"?
I've been seeing adds regarding Ivermectin "cleanses". They normally use one other drug along with Ivermectin, and tell you take it for two weeks.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Not exactly "whole forum" named like that LOL , but one that starts with, lets say, "osteopathic ", or "holistic" etc. I am sure you did not find this forum by Googling "ivermectin" or "parasite" ?!
This is not a forum per se , but looks pretty legit link that talks about cleansing : https://www.verywellhealth.com/natural-remedies-for-intestinal-parasites-88232
@tiredandthristy, I combined your new discussion on Ivermectin "cleanses" with your existing discussion, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/ivermectin-parsite-cleanse/.
Ivermectin is used to treat river blindness (onchocerciasis), intestinal infection from threadworms (strongyloidiasis), and other kinds of worm infections. Ivermectin is an anthelmintic. It works by interfering with the nerve and muscle functions of worms, by paralyzing and killing them. (https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/ivermectin-oral-route/description/drg-20064397)
Researchers are studying Ivermectin to see if it may be used as an anti-cancer drug and early studies show promise. Please note that this research is in the early stages (mice studies) and has not yet been tested in human trials. Ivermectin is not a proven standard treatment for cancer.
Ivermectin and other dewormers (anthelmintics) like fenbendazole can cause irreparable liver damage.

Important
It is NOT safe to take ivermectin used in veterinary medicine. Please talk to your doctor before taking any over-the-counter medications or supplements that claim to fight or cure cancer.
Here's a clear and well-written article about repurposed drugs being researched for cancer.
