FMD means Fasting Mimicking Diet. If you google it you can get some get info. I can tell you that from our experience the past couple of months- my husband has lost 15 pounds since March with the initial diagnosis. This last round of Chemo he did a fast 24 hours prior to the chemo start time.
He follows a KETO diet, no sugar, no processed foods, mainly chicken and turkey, and the occasional beef. Everything is Organic. He just completed Round 5. His CEA was down to a 1.7 prior to Round 5 and he can eat just fine.

Thank you. So much information in such a short time. This is just something I never thought I'd have to face. This group is amazing. I shall research the FMD. I myself have been following a low carb diet for the past 5 months because I hated how I looked and felt. I have pretty much no sugar, carbs, or processed foods. I do eat grass fed organic beef a few times a week. I eat mostly organic as well. I have lost 40 pounds in 5 1/2 months and feel much better but have a ways to go.
I need to stay healthy to keep my husband alive. I am sure there is going to be some tough times but I need him to get through it. I'm not ready to lose him.
