What was the second day like after macular hole surgery
I would like to find out what the second day is like after macular hole surgery. The first day of surgery I will have someone bring me home from the hospital. I intend to rest and sleep a lot. How is the second day? I have a surgeon appt, can I take an Uber? Any other tips or insights? Thank you

Ok. That is good. I wonder what the difference is in a macular hole versus an LPI however. With the LPI they put holes in your cornea right into your Iris. Do you know if that is what is going to be done to you? The only reason I am replying is because I would hate to see anyone go through what I did if it was not totally necessary. It’s been over four years so my eyes are not going to heal. If you do decide to go through with this, ask them what the side effects are even if it’s only rare or one percent like they told me afterwards. At first, they told me there was absolutely zero risk to my vision, which was not true. When you put a hole into your eye light shines through the lens, and it will create glares, halos, and prisms and blurriness. Plus, a hole in the eye will cause the eye to scar over, which will cause a cataract. Just please be aware that these things do happen.
