Estradiol cream and breast soreness

First, my doctor told me that the cream could not cause breast tenderness so I told her maybe I should switch back to the pellets again. And she messages me and tells me that the pellets can also cause breast pain. But you just said that the cream cannot cause breast pain?! How frustrating is this?

Were you on progesterone and testosterone when on pellets?

I understand your confusion. Estradiol pellets deliver a higher dose and are absorbed more effectively than creams. Your PA may have been reasoning that if the higher dosage from the pellet didn't cause you breast tenderness, it would be unexpected for the lower dose from the cream to do so.
