Has anyone used the Marodyne device to stimulate bone growth?
You stand on it twice a day for 10 minutes. It gently vibrates and also helps with improving balance. The Marodyne is made in Germany and costs about $3,000. It has not been FDA approved but there are studies in progress.

Just curious what vitamin brands etc. that your taking?
I have no idea if the Marodyne is making any difference at all. I take many supplements from different brands, but mainly Jarrow and Designs for Health.
I am reading is book right now - very informative.
be careful with those brands. They used to be great products but are now adding fillers and binders into their product. Very sad, I had to find other brands that worked. Bone maximizer by MRM and Superior Labs are good
Excuse me if I laugh out loud here, but you said exactly how I've felt ever since the start of this journey. Perfectly!
I did cave bc I know myself well enough to know, I will never stick to a routine that will ever be good enough to win. Could I have taken a chance, of course, but chose to do Evenity. It was just overwhelming! The list was endless: prunes, fortibone, HIIT, foot stomps, videos, books, and banging my head against the wall had to end. I was exhausted, and yes, the rheumatologist, "you know you need to be taking something."
I am at peace with my decision but again fearful of a lifetime managing the drugs.
Very happy for YOU! Something is surely working. I gave it a year of my best and had more loss. Best wishes keep up the good work it is encouraging 🥰.
I started using the Marodyne for 9 months, twice a day. I am taking supplements too and doing all I can to improve my scores. My hip came down from -2.6 to -2.5, but my spine is worse from -3 to -3.3 in one year. I was expecting it to at least stop the loss, especially after paying so much for the Marodyne so I am highly disappointed!. I plan to get a REMS in a few weeks and see what it says. I need to add heavy weight lifting to my daily routine based on recent videos I have watched. So far, it is the only thing I am missing, because D3, K2, Algaecal, Boron, C2, Magnesium, B complex, zinc, collagen, have been introduced 3 years ago since I got diagnosed. I was lifting weights already, but apparently, I need to increase the load, which is a bit concerning because I have a hernia, but I will check with a therapist, hopefully soon. I have been reading about red light therapy too but that one has EMF's.. 🙁
I've adopted and maintained every natural approach possible, including the Marodyne vibration plate, since being diagnosed with osteoporosis three years ago. My DEXA scores have continued to deteriorate-from a -2.5 to -2.7 (hip) and to a -3.9 (spine) with a -4.6 in the L1 section. The technician who performed the first DEXA in 2021 said she couldn't get a reading on the spine because I have scoliosis in the lumbar region. (Which made no sense). I'm 69 years old. I followed guidance in Dr. McCormick's amazing book, as well as helpful tips from Margie Bissinger's annual bone "summits" and her podcast interviews with functional specialists. I have been taking all the recommended supplements, do weight bearing exercises, Zumba, and work with a physical therapist for the scoliosis. I was tested for underlying causes (like gluten issues) and none were positive. I think the contributing factors in my case are the scoliosis, which developed in my early teens, I was anorexic for four years in college, and hereditary factors from both Mom's and Dad's side of the family are likely playing a part. I started Tymlos injections three weeks ago. So far, so good. I really believed that the natural approaches would improve my bone density, and it appears many people have success with functional medicine exclusively, I'm just not onc of them. I'll continue everything I've been doing to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The good news is I haven't experienced a fracture.
I'd like to sell my Marodyne, anyone know if there's a resale market? I've held on to it wondering if in the future it'll be found to help other conditions like poor balance or muscle strength after an injury. I wouldn't mind just unloading it. I am sorry I trusted Margaret Martin, the science just doesn't seem to be there.
I have one too — such a waste of money. If anyone one wants to try it to see if it will benefit them, I am willing to let it go dirt cheap.
Hi penny. I am reading this in 2025 and was wondering how the marodyne worked for you? I am newly diagnosed (through a DEXA scan) at 63 with -3.2 for my lumbar and am trying NOT to take any meds…changing my diet, doing weight training, supplements, etc.
