I know it's difficult being a caregiver and difficult pulling driving ability, but people with MCI lack judgement. They are not safe drivers, but rather by rote drivers. Driving involves challenges all the time like children dashing out, the car in front stopping suddenly and making left turns while not looking right. Take her on a route she's never been on and see how she does. Have her pass the written and driving test that your state gives before deeming her safe. Unfortunately, she could kill herself or someone else. Just had someone hit me. She stopped at the stop sign but forgot to wait until the car with the right of way cleared the intersection.
