Encourage you to look into PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy. You could start by going to Pubmed.gov and searching on PEMF and tinnitus.

I got Oticon hearing aids 3 months ago and it has reduced my tinnitus about 90% and my hearing is so much better. I put it off for a long time and wish I had done it sooner! Too much sodium & caffeine make Tinnitus worse for me.

It does take some time to adjust. Be blessed all of you!

After a stroke in 2000, my ear started buzzing, 24 years now, plus gradual loss of hearing. Sinus drainage in the ear canal causes itching, and irritation, nothing seems to take it away. It's a lifetime problem.

Hi, my husband recently got a Signia hearing aid from Mayo and was told it has built-in "Notch Therapy" that really helps to reduce tonal tinnitus.

I too own Signia hearing aids. I can't say enough good things about them. But Signia alone is purely a crutch. What's needed to truly rid yourself of the scourge that is tinnitus is CBT or cognitive behaviorally therapy. Search Dr. Bruce Hubbard and cbt tinnitus if you want to send tinnitus into remission.

I have a Cochlear Osia 2 processor for my right ear. I was under the impression that the Cochlear implant was for those who have double sided hearing loss which is why I took the route I did. The tinnitus is very debilitating to the point that it sometimes keeps me from falling asleep at night even using white noise. I have it in both ears, however it is far worse in the deaf side. I, and many others are just looking for solutions for the tinnitus. I am always interested in new technological breakthroughs in this area.

Are there any supplements that have a positive effect on reducing tinnitus? There are so many out there but their effect is questionable.

Anyone have any experience with tinnitus improvement after surgery or radiation on a brain tumor?
