Has anyone had SI joint pain following a lumbar fusion?

I just now saw your post or would have responded earlier. I tried prolotherapy for my back, and the only thing that helped was the bottom line of the prolotherapy office. It is expensive and not covered by insurance. They are like Chiropractors. Once they get you in the door, they keep you coming back. I spent thousands of dollars before realizing I was spinning my wheels. I think that epidurals and ablation from a good pain management doctor are the way to go if you are trying to stay away from surgery.

I should have added that Prolo is just sugar water. They say it will irritate the area to stimulate the body's natural healing. However, if nerves are being pinched by an aging back or scoliosis, there is no natural healing.
