recovery time - It depends on you and how difficult the surgery was
bowel movements/elimination - It will be continually the first 5-6 weeks while healing,
anal leakage - This can be for a couple of mths. (buy pads in advance)
urination issues - I had none. Even though they had to call in a urologist during surgery to make sure my damage from so many episodes did not affect the ureters
ongoing pain - Pain was minimal. Stayed on Tylenol, Advil and a muscle relaxer for the first week. I would say just discomfort.
nausea - None

Oh yeah.
Go ahead and order a Squatty Potty!
And if you have a bed, you can adjust it will be better to sleep in zero G.
You will not be able to sleep on your sides for a while. (mainly discomfort)
