Thank you for posting your "common sense" visit with your oncologist. These are words we all need to hear. In 2022, I received my diagnosis of breast cancer, blood cancer, Sjogren's Disease (I already had several autoimmune diseases), and small fiber neuropathy, within a few months. I really startled my breast surgeon as she assumed I would need some comforting words from her. I was already very accepting of it, knowing we had discovered it early. I just really wanted to know what was affecting my balance so badly. That came much later with the large fiber neuropathy diagnosis. I knew I had a good surgeon and oncologist. (Record search, the internet is good for some things.) Sadly, we have all been affected by the "C" word. Anything associated with it carries its own baggage. So, being hard headed is not such a bad thing. Just go your own way. We are on our own separate journey, but we can support eachother.
