I have had excessive saliva since Covid, over 4 1/2 years ago. At first my salivary glands would swell so large, it was hard to swallow. I would asperate myself because I would inhale by accident my excessive salvia. Which caused me to cough and have a sore throat for weeks. I saw many specialist, who had no idea as to why thiis happening. I started eating more spicier foods, sour balls, and drinks to try to clear out my glands. This has helped with my swelling glands, but not the excessive saliva issue. I have just gotten use to swallowing alot and maybe waking up to a drool ridden pillow.

earthangel, I empathize. I had excessive saliva & mucus for 2 years after having Covid twice.
I took NAC supplement and tried everything...you name it. I went to 5 different doctors and
nobody could help me.

It finally went away after 2 years. However, when I get a sinus infection or upper respiratory infection, it returns until I am cleared up. I get choked on it at night when it ramps up.

Praying yours will go away. I believe COVID attacks our salivary glands and mucosa.

Understood and I’m right there with you.
