PSMA-PET/MRI Results
Hello,
I received my PSMA test results back-I think this is good news! Any comments!
mi-T-stage: T0.
Regional lymph nodes: No evidence of pelvic
lymphadenopathy.
mi-N-stage: N0
Distant sites of disease:
Extrapelvic nodes: No evidence of extra-pelvic
lymphadenopathy.
Bones: No evidence of osseous metastases.
Soft tissue metastases: No evidence of soft tissue
metastases.
mi-M-stage: M0

Sometimes the remaining tissue comes back fast and PSA goes up again; not necessarily a worry, but do stay on top of it.

There was a malignant adenoma in the pathology finding of the prostate removed. What makes me wonder is how do they know where the tumor was in a morcellated prostate gland the consistency of peanut butter. Yes, a morcellator was used- I'm in Spain.
A little backstory on my issue- not to distract from the congratulations I initially meant to give to @mauk .
Oh man, great question!! I remember your previous posts in which your PSA was rising and they said you were ‘cured’ - is that right? How is it going?
It seems they use morcellators here as well after they laser the tissue, in order to remove it from the gland. Perhaps they biopsy an area before lasering it? Honestly don’t know the answer…

Did your urologist and R/O go over that getting PSA bumps are completely common and going to happen. It is the long term PSA test that are important both before and after the treatments.
What was your original PSA?
Unless you have RP you are going to have PSA and it is going to bump around. Were you on hormone treatments.
