Hi! I just read your post and I know it's been a few years since you wrote it. I'm wondering how you are doing and if you had further treatment. I have the same symptoms as you. I am 10 weeks post surgery on my left eye. I have PD with constant flickering. I also get a ray of light across my vision when I get near a light source, like if I walk right next to it, otherwise it's not terrible. Additionally, I have what looks like a film on the surface of my eye. I don't know if it's on the surface or on the lens. For some reason, the doctor can't see it, even though my husband and daughter can see it clearly. I am going to the Cleveland Clinic in 4 weeks, but by then it will be about 15 weeks. I've read a lens exchange is risky, but I'm worried that's my only option. Please let me know what you ended up doing.

My understanding is some surgeons are quite good at IOL replacements and are doing them more often.

Lots of videos online showing the general process - various IOLs have different materials and haptics.
