Do you take midodrine?

I've taken Midodrine on/off for the past 10 years or so (along with Droxidopa). I found it best to make sure spaced evenly (ex - 8:30a, 2;30p, 8:30p). If it seems that 10mg might be pushing your BP too high, maybe 5mg every 3 hrs (ex - 8:30a, 11:30a, 2:30p, 5:30p, 8:30p....adjusted based on when you actually take your 1st dose). Key is consistency & even spacing. I know every 3 hours can be a pain but if it works/helps it is worth it. Set a reminder to come up on your watch/phone so you don't miss any. Run that idea past your Cardiologist. FYI my BP had been as low as 60's/40's. My Dr. wants my resting BP to be in the 130's-140's (he said 120's & I'd be on the floor). Hope this helps. Please let us know with a follow up.

Hi Lucy, thanks for your response. I see Droxidopa is prescribed for Parkinson; do you have Parkinson's? My cardiologist has no idea why I have low BP everyday! I don't have Parkinson's Disease I have no problem timing or spacing out a dosage regime but I am interested in your BP at those times. i.e. would you take a 2nd dose 3 hrs. later if the first dose raised your pressure to 145 systolic, or even higher?
