Were you having any symptoms or CT changes when you had the bronchoscopy and received this Diagnosis? But the random sputum samples you submitted were negative? Or were you unable to produce a sputum sample?

I was having no symptoms and was actually so excited because my MAC Avium and the cavity caused by it were both gone. Since I had a NEW cavity NJH suspected Aspergillus and my NJH suggested I get a Bronchoscopy to see what may be lingering in the new cavity. I did produce sputum and even during the 6 months I was on Voriconazole my sputum samples still came back Negative for Fungus.
