Barbara - If you are maintaining at 1+ why are you thinking about antibiotics? Unless I had M Abscessus or cavities, I'm not sure I would ever do the antibiotics again, unless maybe they discover a new miracle drug. I think my Mom maintained with MAI for 4 or more years in her 80's just nebbing, coughing and taking antibiotics for exacerbations - and she died of an unrelated illness.

Agree with you Sue! I have not had to take the Big 3 yet and hope not to.

I was being pressed by Tyler to do the antibiotics since October of 2024 and as you can see I kept putting them off. It didn't go over very well that I didn't hop onto the antibiotics. As you and others have said "We are all different." Also, we know ourselves best.
Yes, no cavities or other infection. As you know I am 82 + 7 months now and feel fine. No other major health problem showing at this time.
You are so needed. Thank you for your knowledge and yes, opinion. I needed that direct thought from one who has seen and heard much in the last decade with medical concerns and BE in particular.
I will continue on, at this juncture, with what I have felt was best for me, no antibiotics,
