@noliva99 - I like your attitude. Never give up! Plus you have to be your own best advocate.

In my case, the pellets are inserted in my hip about every 9-12 months. When I start to feel sluggish, I make an appointment for a blood draw and pellet insertion. At the insertion-appointment, we check my free T and determine the dosage of the pellets. They compound the pellets right there and 20 minutes later I'm walking out. In a very few days I feel strong and vigorous again with a much improved libido.

My insurance (medicare + medi-gap) doesn't cover this. I pay $399 out of my pocket but have always been happy to do so for the benefits of raising my T.

Very good data...hope that works generally...
I'm sure good blood pressure, excellent diet helps

@nolivap99 - In my part of the world, there are medical clinics that are holistically focused. I have gone to one for years (more than 10) and periodically have them insert small time-release bio-identical testosterone pellets that help maintain my T level. I return when I start feeling either sluggish or waning libido. I usually have a new pellet every 9-12 months. Low T is a "thing" and I believe it can be managed and not ignored.

But is there a direct association and physical effect between libido and the testosterone pellets getting inserted? How long after pellet insertion before feelings of libido return?
Did you ever try injections of testosterone propionate to raise your Free-T level? With pellets, is your Free-T level then within normal range, or are you looking at total testosterone level only?
And do you get your estrogen (estradiol) level checked since extra testosterone will raise your blood estradiol level?

I’m 73 and have a few disease processes and meds that can interfere with my function at times but not always. My wife is 74 and has zero diseases and takes no routine meds. Except for vaginal atrophy she’s still hot to trot. Luckily I’m a retired nurse and have a more than the average guys knowledge of female anatomy. My fingers walk the walk and occasionally my penis can too. So in our 70’s we’ve switched to hands and oral sex and a new frontier has opened up for us. I also read the book She Comes First by Dr. Ian Kerner which explains a lot for those who lack knowledge. A good book for women to read too. No reason she has to do without when I cannot get it up.

I am in no way saying you are wrong asking "how you deal with it", but wouldn't "how do we do with it" be better? However, I am so offended by your statement/question. We suffered thru the blue pill, the penile injections, and now the inflatable penile prosthesis. Yes, the IPP solves the penetration problem, however, it is the result of a pump and hydraulics not love and attractions. Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition that effects two people not just one.

Hello. I’ve been dealing with ED since my early 40s now 55 and meds are not working. I’m in a new marriage and this issue has really got worse. Do you regret getting the IPP? My wife and I have discussed this and she is hesitant.

I had a stroke in 2022 lost any ability to have an erection and my libido. I have a few years on you .
Had a Rigicon MPP which is a malleable penile implant put in -2023 unlike an IPP which involves a pump in your testicles and hollow cylinders I have 2 rods that are erect all the time. I hardly notice I have it anymore. Go to a website called franktalk become a member it's free ..all guys with ed problems and how they deal with it .. implants attitudes etc ..
