It is late in the history but if there is active rash take photos for future reference. With active blisters they may consider an oral antiviral like
Valtrex.

She is on Valtrex now, along with oxycodone. Pictures were taken at onset, and we've been tracking. Blisters have now merged and are not as red. However, she is still in pain. Waiting for doctor with regard to new bloodwork. Thank you!
