@rdm86

have you tried putting warm washcloths over them. that will reduce any swelling. when my son had a inflammed lymphnodes, they have been saying he has cancer for 8 yrs. A rheamotologist can rule out some DNA to see if this could be something else. Hope you find your answers. All the testing and procedures my son has done, they still have not found any evidence of any type of cancer and even his DNA shows he is not a candidate for it. That doesn't mean he can't get it, just not genetic for him to do so. Have you ever thought about having allergy testing done?? You may be allergic to something that is causing this flare. You should not have to wait months for this to be diagnosed. and make sure it is a diagnosis and not just string you along for whatever they can get out of your insurance company. Just being brutally honest with how my son has been treated for over 8 yrs now. he is only 39.

Thanks for your response and kind thoughts. The multiple lymph nodes do not bother me unless I bumped up to something or am, perhaps, applying lotion and suddenly I feel them. It is peculiar that they have popped up since the vertebral fracture of unknown cause. I keep wondering if they are related. Now that the fracture has healed I am back to hiking and biking but it took about 18 months to be mostly pain free.
Cell-free DNA testing may be an option.
Good to hear your son is 39 and nothing has apparently come from it.
