I have nonalcoholic cirrhosis and liver cancer. I had Y90 mapping procedure a couple of weeks ago with Y90 procedure scheduled for next week. Mapping was not bad at all except for laying flat for a couple of hours afterwards. Ready to get the radiation beads inserted to start shrinking my 4 cm tumor. I am already on the liver transplant waitlist.

I have liver cancer too. They already did the mapping I’m scheduled for the NY 90 at the end of this month. I’m a little nervous. I just hope it works.

@fm4 and @jam62, how did your first Y90 treatments go?

I had liver cancer and had what you are calling y90 treatment. It took two treatments to stop the cancer, which also drove me higher on the transplant list (I had NAFL and Cirrhosis).
The treatment for me was painful after with compression at the injection spot

What is mapping you guys talk about? I just had CT scan and then the treatment.
