This is almost exactly the situation my granddaughter has with her almost two-year-old son. She has been to several doctors and had very little progress. He is almost constantly on antibiotics which I don't think is advisable either. He was a little over five pounds at birth and is a bit small but seems healthy otherwise except for the ear infections, pink eye and congestion despite having had tubes inserted in both ears.
