@farmerjon, Hello and Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! I am so glad you have found this community and are going to connect with others who have experienced or maybe cared for someone in your same situation.

Can I just say "90 hours a week?!?! wow"! The life of a farmer during planting and harvest time...you cannot afford to feel sick or short of breath (any other time of the year right? but not during planting or harvest time!). Thank you for what you do! We love and appreciate our farmers!!

I realize with running your farm operation you're pressed for extra time but being your own health care advocate and still experiencing shortness of breath, I would be thinking about consultation with your physician again. Maybe they can give you more information on your lung health and options that may help improve your breathing?

Did your heath care provider give you a timeline on how long it would be before you were feeling like lung capacity was back to normal? or if you would have a new normal? Have you thought about having the burr examined?

I have an investigator on my case and he is in the process of trying to locate an expert that would be qualified to inspect the Dental Burr. If you have any suggestions it would be appreciated. Thank you, farmerjon
