No, on most of your questions but I've been treating myself finding online information. I take many supplements and all but eliminated sugar and carbs, and in the past this has lowered my A1C to the high end of normal. I, only, recently found out about my thyroid and have not had an ultrasound. I do have inflammation and some pain in the area of my thyroid. I massage it out which helps.
I slowly started back on sugar, over the years, and bad oils so I now went back to no sugar and no seed oils etc. I hope this clears up most of this but I'm most concerned about the thyroid. I know 8.6 is high though it's not considered full-out disease until it's 10. My concern is all the bad reviews regarding the synthetic hormone used in these cases. My goal is to eliminate drugs not add them. I just started taking organic bovine thyroid.....ashwaganda, iodine etc.. I have much inflammation and always have so I take ginger etc.. I love to work out but I cannot do much due to the instant inflammation leading to poor sleep and feeling miserable. I live in an area where it's difficult to even see any doctor. I think I should look for an online source. I hope I can see an endocrinologist online? No sleep study and I'm currently on escitalopram and clonazopam for sleep. Looking to get off the clonaz.....but not really concerned regarding escitalopram.

Hi Tiredandtgirsty. Wow, you have a lot going on. Good job on your fitness!! As Dyidailyhope suggests, you do need to see an Endocrinologist to sort out your symptoms, and then do specific bloodwork, and then possibly on to imaging. Meanwhile, look closely at the ingredients of your supplements. There are 2 common ones (biotin and iodine) which are known to alter thyroid tests. The biotin altered mine, and it was low dose amounts. Eliminate those ingredients from your diet a month before any bloodwork. An endocrinologist can help you problem solve . Good luck!
