On the road to my first Cardio Version

I had cardioversion done a little of 2 months ago. Took two zaps to get me back to NSR. First try my heart flip back to Afib almost instantaneously. Like other procedures they put you out while it is being done. A nice 1-hour nap. Maybe a battery charger and you can clip on to your chest and back.

I am 85 and to my knowledge this was my first episode of Afib. Pretty sure I brought it on by doing some really physical labor mending fences and not keeping myself hydrated. I will have pulse field ablation done on 23 May and hopefully this will keep me out of Afib.

Are you a Farmer or Rancher? Yea I do stuff like that all the time especially letting myself get dehydrated, I know better but I let it happen all the time.
I doubt my AFlutter will give up on the first zap.

On another topic, not sure what was in my original post but it required review took a couple of days.

My husband 77 had ablations, but Afib remains. He will get Cardioversion next week.

Are you saying you needed/had 2 Cardioversion zaps during this latest procedure? Thx
