Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

That sounds like a great combination. You can walk with running shoes, but you cant run with walkin shoes - or at least I can't. The steel toe socks add a little extra cushion which I think helps balance. Thanks.

Barefoot Shoes definitely outweigh the risks with so many models for sport & dress-up. They work to strengthen your calves, ankles & balance. They help you drive more safely because the soles are thin & help you feel the pedals. Please try them again. Get them on Amazon & exchange them for other models if a model is not right for you. They are made for Neuropathy sufferers & they work for me & I’ve had serious symptoms for 15 years.
I also have had success with Skechers slip on shoes, but similarly, the relief only lasts a few months as the insoles lose their resilience over time. Nevertheless, it is wonderful to walk without pain. I cannot afford to replace the shoes every 3-4 months, so I would love to hear of a more permanent solution.
I thought for neuropathy one needs more support on the sole to act as shock absorbers.
I have several pairs of cushioned soles that are comfortable but not as versatile as the barefoot shoes which are great for exercise & better for walking & driving since the soles are thin & you can feel the pedals. There are plenty to choose from & most of them are inexpensive.
Oh ! They are better for walking too? Then what do you use the cushioned sole ones for?
I am sales on water shoes, I can wear them all day and my feet don’t hurt! A lot of people wearing them for neuropathy. I get mine of Amazon. They have men’s and women’s. Hope this helps. They are very very reasonable.
My Ortho Feet , Sketchers& Hokas are gathering dust in my closet. I’ll give them away to people who will love them with normal feet. I’ll wear my black Barefoot Shoes with a tuxedo 😁
