That is a great list. I ama 86 year old caregiver for my husband who is in second stage Dementia. He was diagnosed about 5 years ago and also has Prostate cancer that was treated it now has a high PSA. He is 89 years old and physically compromised due to the prostate issues. I’ve had Hospice for about 9 months. I can’t say enough positives about that. It has helped me maintain My sanity.I am a nurse so I know how to take care of him physically but emotionally it’s very difficult especially evenings with sundowning. Hospice has put him on Haldol and I thank God for it because it has been a wonder drug for him. He still has some issues but nothing like we dealt with before. I’m thankful now for this website so that I can read other people’s experiences. There are no live groups in the very rural area I live in. Also, I don’t drive anymore so it’s very hard for me to have time away. I not only need someone to be with my husband and also someone to take me. I do have family close by but they have a life to live as well.

@5403921823 Your comments really gave me a positive boost! You are doing so much without even an unkind word! @IndianaScott made this list after caring for his wife for 14 years. I’m so glad you liked it! Is there anything we can do for you?
I think there some discussions that you might enjoy. This link goes to the Just Want to Talk
