Hello again ! I hope I am NOT TAKING OVER THE SITE !
It’s ok to be nervous!! We all are ! Even scared !! Just few days ago all my blood work came back extremely low !! All way in the RED !!
This is compelling me to go back to YALE CANCER CRNTER !! Scythian coming Tuesday ! I will be asking my specialist to write that order for my forth BMB bone marrow biopsy!!
Yes I am asking first time to be sedated at their INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY!! I know how it hurts so taking the less painful option!!
My friend ! BMB IS REALLY THE ONLY WAY FOR DOCTORS TO REALLY GET A TRUE PICTURE OF WHAT YOUR BONE MARROW IS LIKE! As I stated before! I have no choice if I want to get the best treatment for myself!
Good luck ! Many people who are in this site ! Are pulling for you ! And hoping for best and most accurate results! Sincerely
Hi there. I have been recently like diagnosed with AML. Like you I fell and broke my L1and L5 vertebrae. The pain was excruciating. I made three trips to the ER during it all because of the pain. I had had a hip replacement prior to that and it helped me to live again without a walker. So the fall was a big set back and I had a terrible depression that nearly took m a life. Do
I hope you are surrounded with a good medical team for your anxiety and all. On a lighter note my back
Is better but still doing physical therapy to try and strengthen it. I have had several bone marrow biopsies and like you was terrified it would cause that pain yo come back again. However it has been fine. I have to do another one after I finish the 7 + 3 chemo infusion regimen. I am sure your oncologist is aware of your serious back situation and will be very careful. Unfortunately with AML bone marrow biopsies have to be done so they know if we reach a remission. I turned it all over to God and he is getting me through it all. May God bless you with good results.
