I do change out for a new urostomy bag halfway thru to avoid bacterial build up and uti’s.

You must have a detachable bag, yes? I use Hollister # 8414 which is a one piece pre-cut to 1 inch(size was measured by Ostomy nurse at Mayo). All I do it stick the Hollister # 8815 Adapt CeraRing to the opening and that is it. With these pieces the unit goes on as one and comes out as one, no option to only change the bag itself. Yes, I do think about bacterial build up ans uti's.
Definitely a concern for us with ostomies.
