Are you having a 'twilight' anaesthetic? If so, you won't feel a thing apart from a small sting as they insert the canula, with no anaesthetic, I believe it can be quite painful, not just 'uncomfortable' but I don't want to scare you!
I had a little improvement before 6 weeks but it reverted back to prior ablation altho I can still tie my shoelaces which was very difficult prior to procedure so I guess that's a plus.
My doctor's in Brisbane, Australia so feel free to come see him!!!!
Cheers

Australia is a bit too far for a visit, though I hear it's beautiful. He gave me 10mg of Valium to take prior to the procedure. I also take Klonopin, so I will take that, too. I am definitely scared about the whole procedure. I hope it helps since I've been dealing with this forever. Do you think it might take more time to see more results? I like your honesty. Thank you again!

I didn't have pain with mine. It was a little pinch. I don't like drugs that make you feel whoosy. The doctor isn't doing it right if you feel a lot of pain.
I am in Tucson AZ area.
