blood pressure variability
Does anyone experience blood pressure variability or labile blood pressures since Post-COVID? I'll have readings that range as high as 168/117 and as low as 101/71 not long after.

Hi,
I'm sorry about your fluctuating blood pressures. That must be awful. I didn't have Covid but I did have high blood pressure for several years while the doctor tried many medications to get it down to normal without much luck. However, the one medication that really worked the best was Amlodipine. That was the one that got my blood pressure back to normal. I'm 79 and my blood pressure is always in the 120 region. After I first took Amlodipine I could feel the calmness coming back into my body. Everyone's different so it may not work for you. But it might be a good idea to talk to your doctor about it.
PML
Typical Long COVID symptom. Somewhat managed with Blood Pressure meds.
Yes, mine are way up ever since my two battles with civil three years ago. The physian assistants at the clinic that I use doesn't seem to be affected or care about my high BP. One day it was 235 over 180, but I felt fine. Since this all started I bought my very own BPCuff to keep track of my status.
Another funny thing is my body temperature. It's always low now. Usually around 96.7° one night it was 93°. And I felt fine, although I can't stand the outdoor temperature. Summers are way too hot and has bad affects on me. I get sick with dry heaves, dizzy, very tired, need to be under a strong and fast fan to survive.
I'm hoping to get better.
Oh, my upper teeth all cracked off at the gum line with no cavities. My molars just got loose and feel out.
Now I need to get a bunch of roots pulled and save for total upper implant piece.
Snap, caught my first infection of covid 19 over 5 years ago (with 2 further ones and 3 jabs in following 2 years) and first symptoms of high BP and HR have remained, to go on to get tilt table test of ‘postural hypotension, not POTS’ with syncope despite high BP at rest. For about 2 years on 5 simultaneous antihypertensives; the beta blocker removed after TTT showed BP plummeted to 61/40. Currently on 3 hypertensives trying to see if the 4 are in fact counter acting with each other as like you one minute BP monitor at home shows a reading on 165/80, next 95/65…too much variation to feel averaging out 3 or 4 readings gives a representative idea what is happening, yet GP surgery and cardiologist dept. average out the likes 24 hour Holter monitor and seem to be happy to average such stats. to c.130/72 which is acceptable. I’ve tried everything mentioned in Pots/ dysautonomia management sites like compression garments, hydration, even been swimming 50 mins 5x a week over last 25 months, but nothing seems to either lower BP or make it consistently high/ low etc. I self diagnosed ‘labile’ BP myself, and am trying my own ‘experiment’ slowly juggling the antihypertensives, and recording the results! For me the chopping and changing of the BP/HR is the most disabilitating of the remaining Long Covid symptoms ( including exhaustion, all over pain, and no sense of smell) as I can’t stand for very long, and walk more than a few yards….
