It is wet AMD 🙁
Thank you for sharing! I really hope that I respond well too! I’m not sure what they are starting me on but I will definitely have these on hand to ask about.

So as I understand there is not cure or reversal of this right?

I'm nearing completion of my second year of treatment. As I understand, you are correct about no cure available. Whether we see some 'reversal' may be more a matter of interpretation. I no longer see the bend in straight objects like phone poles or road striping, and I definitely am not 'tearing' or 'watering' as much as I did before treatment - especially when reading. I guess I'd call those reversals?

My vision is 20/20. My condition happened to be caught at my annual visit to the optometrist.

My retinal specialist at Mayo-Roch started me on Avastin - both eyes. One eye has stopped leaking/bleeding. The other did not and we began treating that eye with Eyelea. Last visit with the specialist showed a big reduction in leaking in the second eye. My hope/goal is to get to longer periods between injections, of course. As I'm treating both eyes, we inject both at the same time & interval - sort of a lowest common denominator method. You must now be around your first major testing after starting injections. I hope you get good results.
