So with a urostomy u r dealing with urine…no stools? With stools there is a buildup of feces creating a pancake under the bag that eventually leads to a leak in the wall of the bag adhered to the skin. I am anxious to try the skin tac tho, to see if it helps with a colostomy.

Yes, with my urostomy it’s just urine. Sometimes, even though I have an ileostomy, where usually the stool is more loose than a colostomy, I sometimes still get firmer stools and it does stick to the stoma. You can also put some baby oil on the inside of the bag that’s near the stoma and a drizzle a little inside the bag to help the stool slide down easier. Plus, up your fluid intake, with water, and a little apple juice to help loosen the stool up, that might help.
