High eye pressure after cataract surgery
High eye pressure and inflammation after cataract surgery and surgeon doesn't know why with all the eye drops and was put on predisone pills with bad side effects still going on after tapering off. Been 9 months since surgery and surgeon wants to do tear duck surgery and maybe Stent surgery after. Tell me your thoughts please and not at ease at all with knowing more complications can right plus high pressure can get higher after surgery.

I’ve never heard of this, but hope you can find a remedy. I hope someone who has experience with it will chime in.
Did you have high IOP before the surgery, or is this post op condition? My sister in law has glaucoma and in prep for her cataract surgery she had her eyes dilated for the exam. She experienced an increase in pressure in one eye up to 40. They immediately tried to lower her pressure but couldn't do another laser procedure since she had already had one. They successfully lowered the pressure via medication.
I had terrible pain in eye about 12 hours after cataract surgery. Next day my eye pressure was off the charts (my usual about 14-16), so had drops in Dr office which lowered pressure to around 24. Dr gave me rx for additional pressure drops to take for a week. Luckily after a week my pressure back to normal....and normal a month later without drops.
