Things that move in your body?

Have you had things that you felt were moving on your face or anywhere on or inside your body? I have. I have a small notebook and I am now writing dates and keeping notes on symptoms. I have small nerve fiber neuropathy no known cause. I was sitting watching TV and I felt an odd sensation like Move up to underneath my right eye. Not pain but like it was pushing to be there. I had head pressure and I took my BP 180/90 took a clonidine and went to the ER. Nothing found. Now it is getting more bizarre for me. I was at home fixing to go give blood so I could get my MRI’s done tomorrow. I felt it come on the left side of my face. I took my BP cuff ,stethoscope and clonidine with me. I took my BP first and took my regular meds. I went to the lab and had a wait. It wasn’t long and I started noticing it came underneath my right eye. So I had it on both sides of my face. I also noticed the pressure building in my head like a headache (haven't had those in a long awhile) so I took my BP and my clonidine. My BP came down. I feel totally weirded out now. It is taking too long to see people. I have an EMG due at the end of the month. It would be 4 months to see a neurologist. I saw the nurse practitioner and I had to push to get the MRI done. Not that it will matter. I am not sure it will show anything in my head. But I have things in my neck. I had things moving in my head that I felt and it was something moving but no pain or pressure. WEIRD. I am keeping a small book and putting symptoms in so when ever I get to see someone it might help. @rnlorena

@celia16 actually it is not like painful. The first time it happened my BP was 180/90. I took a clonidine and went to ER. They found nothing. Today when I got up it was my head and I felt it around my right eye. I took my BP this morning and it was 122/80. So I am only guessing but nerves can mess with the B/P. I am at a loss for this.

I’m sorry you’re having weird movements that concern you. Neurological stuff can be so weird. Could the movement you’re experiencing be muscle twitches? I have a rare hereditary neuropathy and one of the issues I have is with fasciculations (muscle twitches). I’ll have at least 50 at a time in my legs and feet and they go on for hours. This is a regular occurrence. I remember when my son was young and I had shorts on he told me it looked like bugs were crawling under my skin. It feels that way too. I also get random twitches on my face when under my eyes, my eyelids and near my mouth, my hands and other places. I remember having eye twitches as a kid. The massive leg twitches started about 40 years ago in my 20s.

There are a lot of people on this platform that talk about benign fasciculation syndrome (BFS). You might want to search for that and read how others describe it. I hope you find answers soon.

@californiazebra No it’s not twitches. It’s hard to describe. I have had to think more about it. It is like a Subtle thing. Like suddenly I can tell it’s near my eye. It is so weird. The first time it happened I checked my Blood pressure. It was 180/90. I took a Clonidine and went to the ER. They found nothing. It has happened since then near both eyes. I am keeping a record of everything that’s been happening-pending especially that. I am working on getting a referral to a neurosurgeon. My blood pressures have been very good except for when this happens. I think it has something to do with my neck. I put my MRI results on here just to see if anybody knew anything. I have googled it and it says it could affect my eyes. I needs answers. Really I do. @rnlorena

Sorry you’re having all these weird symptoms and no answers. It’s so frustrating trying to explain weird symptoms the doctor can’t see. Neuro stuff can be so strange. I hope some doctor has an aha moment soon and can help you.

@californiazebra Neuro stuff is definitely weird. I feel weird. I snagged an appt to my neurologist and I asked him a bunch of questions. Nothing. He did say I wouldn't go to a Neurosurgeon. I did not respond to that. My brother said why not. If the neurosurgeon can help you. I swear I worked in the medical field and boy how it has changed. I am my own advocate. Let me tell you. I am hoping for an aha moment but I don’t know. If the Neurosurgeon here can’tt help me I am calling Houston Texas. Thanks for your thoughts. Much appreciated.
