Anyone experienced a fibromyalgia flare for 6 months?

I know this is a old post! But I'm wondering same question how long can fibromyalgia flare I was told by a Er dr I might have it 4 years ago he felt around on my musculoskeletal it was sore I've been feeling stiff in my neck back feel hot or cold weak fatigued all the month of april now into may my dr did blood test said I do have a bacterial infection but also Said my white blood count elevated and I do have inflammation said my arthritis count was elevated then said since the arthritis count was high or elevated could be the fibromyalgia I had 24/7 symptoms since April stiff neck and shoulders fatigue foggy head I get hot then I get cold I dunno I'm very stressed out I haven't been to a rheumatologist or anything else just my primary doctor

You should see a rheumatologist. A high white count and a bacterial infection means you should be on antibiotics to clear it. Did the doctor give you antibiotics? All your symptoms could be due to a bacterial infection. Fibromyalgia pain is not due to inflammation. It's due to problems in the pain center of the brain. It can mimic some of your symptoms but it it's a bacterial infection.

I would se a rheumatologist, that's their area of expertise. After 45 years with it, I am always in a flare just lesser degrees of pain.

That is my constant state.

I haven’t found much luck with rheumatologists and fibromyalgia. I have had a 4 month flare up. One weird thing I did try, but it hurt like hell, was intravenous stem cell- 5 sessions total. It felt like my body was attacking itself from the inside but 3 months later I realized I was considerably better
